The Wellington Street Review is currently on hiatus.
Our feature pieces are published monthly and are styled as ‘accessible academic’. They can range from ‘leftist economic interpretations of working class masculinity in heavy metal of the 80s’ to reviews to ‘thoughts on Thomas Tallis’ and beyond. If you can think of it, we’re interested in reading it!
We welcome guest contributors for our features section, which is published between issues. If you would like to get involved, please send a short pitch and a brief third person biography (approx. 75 words) to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject heading ‘FEATURE PITCH’.
Please note most of our features are between 3,000-4,000 words long, and we are unlikely to accept a piece which runs below 2,000. Pieces must contain at least two verifiable, independently published sources to be considered for publication. All submissions should follow MHRA style guidelines and citations should be formatted as endnotes.
We recommend reading our previous features to get an idea of what we are looking for.
